April 2020	Completion of the Bad Lauchstädt measurement campaign
	Within the scope of the Power-to-Gas project „Energiepark Bad Lauchstädt“, which was selected as a Reallabor of the German Energiewende within the 7th Energy Research Programme of the Federal Government, Terrawatt has carried out and completed a LiDAR measurement campaign. For one year, the wind speed and wind direction were measured with the company's own measuring system up to 210 m above ground at a total of eleven measuring heights. The measurement data will reduce the uncertainty of the yield prognosis of the planned wind farm with a total capacity of about 35 MW. They will also be used in the project to model the hydrogen production and the workload of the electrolyser in an off-grid operation mode.
November 2019	Commissioning of Yeong Yang Wind Farm
	The Yeong Yang Wind Farm Project is located in the western part of the Korean peninsula and comprises of 22x Vestas V112 Wind Turbines. The total installed capacity of 75.9 MW makes it the third largest wind farm in the country. The last of the 22 turbines started operation in November 2019. Terrawatt was contracted as the owners engineer and performed consultancy service for the planning, installation and commissioning of the wind farm. Furthermore, Terrawatt was responsible for the elaboration of an energy yield study and supervised the turbine installation.
October 2019	Commissioning of Sumang Wind Farm
	The Sumang Wind Farm Project is located in the southern part of Jeju Island and comprises of 7x Vestas V126 Wind Turbines. The total installed capacity is 25.2 MW. The wind farm started operation in October 2019. Terrawatt was contracted as the owners engineer and performed consultancy service for the planning, installation and commissioning of the wind farm. Furthermore, Terrawatt supervised the turbine installation.
July 2019	Energy Park Bad Lauchstädt
	Together with the consortium partners VNG, Ontras, Uniper and DBI, Terrawatt Planungsgesellschaft mbH plans the large-scale storage of green hydrogen in a salt cavern at the Bad Lauchstädt site. The Power-to-Gas project was selected as a Reallabor of the German Energiewende within the scope of the 7th Energy Research Programme of the Federal Government. With the availability and concentration of infrastructure such as a cavern, a 380 kV transformer station and a 150 km Central German hydrogen pipeline, the location is predestined for sector coupling. For the production of green hydrogen Terrawatt will build a wind farm with a total capacity of about 35 MW and actively participate in the transformation to a CO2-free chemical site in Central Germany. April 2017	Leipzig, Saxony
	On April 29th 2017, the commissioning of two wind turbine generators of the type Senvion 3.4M114 has been completed by Terrawatt GmbH. They are the largest installed turbines in West-Saxony with total height of 200 meters and a rated power of 3.4 MW per turbine. The construction permit in accordance with “Bundes-Immissionsschutzgesetz” has already been obtained in February 2013. After several years of negotiations with the environmental agencies, comprehensive measures for the wildlife protection were stipulated. As a result, the construction of the seven kilometer long cable route was commenced in September 2016. The turbine foundations and access roads were already finished in 2016. The turbines were installed and commissioned within just three months. The two wind turbines generate electrical power equal to the electricity usage of approximately 5000 households.
May 2015	Commissioning of 117 MW wind farm in Jordan
	End of May the substation of the 117 MW wind farm in Jordan was put into operation. Only a few days later the first wind turbines started their production and generate clean energy. The expected completion of the wind farm is within the 3rd quarter of 2015.
February 2015	Terrawatt is Exhibitor at RE-Invest Delhi, India
	The fair RE-Invest took place in Delhi, India, from the 15th till the 17th of February 2015. As a platform for investors and enterprises within the field of Renewable Energies and in the patronage of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all main actors of the Indian market gathered at this event. For the first time Terrawatt presented itself to the Indian market. In addition to the surprisingly high number of inquiries important contacts were established with potential partners in the Indian market.
February 2014	PV open-field commissioning in Taucha
	Taucha, close to Leipzig. On March 14th 2014 the commissioning of PV power plant Taucha was completed. The park is sited on a 2ha brownfield, formerly known as „Kohlenhof Taucha“. Instead of prior disturbance due to coal dust, today 5040 solar panels (class: Hyundai HIS-M245MG) are producing emission free electricity with a capacity of 1. 23MW. Refu developed the inverter used in Taucha, which converts solar radiation very efficiently to electricity. Planning and construction surveillance were done by Terrawatt. After completing final works, the park will be handed over to Terrawatt GmbH & Co.KG. Operation managing will be done by Terrawatt Planungsgesellschaft mbH.
February 2013	Poetenweg Leipzig.
	After several weeks of renovation the Terrawatt Planungsgesellschaft moves into its new office in the Poetenweg 49 in Leipzig.

January 2013	wind farm Große Schanze near Halle (Saale), Germany
	At the beginning of the year 2013 the Terrawatt Planungsgesellschaft and the Saxovent-Notus Group sold 15 WTGs of the wind farm Große Schanze in Sachsen-Anhalt to the Swiss utility IWB (Indutrielle Werke Basel). The contract was signed in Basel. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchasing price. The wind farm Große Schanze consists of a total of 21 Vestas V90 – 2 MW Gridstreamer, which were gradually connected to the grid since summer 2012. The 15 sold WTGs will produce a predicted annual energy yield of 69 million kWh, representing a supply of about 19,000 households with environmentally friendly electricity. In cooperation with the Saxovent-Notus Group the Terrawatt Planungsgesellschaft remains responsible for the technical operation management of the WTGs. IWB is an investor, who pursues its goal – the expansion of renewable energy – in the long term. Overall, the company now holds 70 WTGs in 13 wind farms in its portfolio.

September 2012	Completion of overhead line in Nigeria
	20 kilometres long overhead line, which connects 38xGEV MP C275 wind turbines from the wind farm Katsina to the public grid, is completed. Start of commissioning is planned in October 2012.

August 30, 2012	Commissioning of wind farm “Große Schanze”
	The last wind turbine from a total of 21 Vestas V90 in wind farm “Große Schanze” in Holleben near Halle, Germany, has been brought into service. Thereby, the construction of the wind farm with a capacity of 42 MW is on schedule.

May 2012	Construction of overhead line in Nigeria
	The construction works for the grid connection of the wind farm Katsina to the utilities network has started in northern Nigeria. Terrawatt serves as owners engineer for the Ministry of Power during the erection of 38 WTG type GEV MP C275 kW for the first wind farm in the African country.

April 2012	Wind farm Fantanele operations management
	Terrawatt executes the implementation and supervision of a local operation management system for 240 WTG GE 2.5 in the wind farm of Fantanele, Romania.

2012-03-29	Wind farm Tautenhain has been brought into service.
	The expansion of the wind farm Tautenhain(Germany) is connected to the grid. A newly erected Enercon E-53 WTG started operation.

2012-02-20	Start of construction for wind farm Große Schanze
	The construction works for the wind farm Große Schanze (Germany) has started on February, 20th. Terrawatt builds 5 own WTG and supports the installation of further 21 WTG with technical services.

2012-01-11	New project in Morocco, Africa
	A subcontract cooperation for 3 wind farm projects in Morocco with a total power of 150 MW was agreed with Lahmeyer International. Thereby, Terrawatt executes technical services in 3 African countries.
